    European NAD Pioneer John has travelled extensively around the world, culminating in 19 years’ experience looking at different models. He is the European pioneer of Nad+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) treatment to Europe in 2010; and recently back from the USA bringing state of the art Virtual Reality Relapse Prevention and stress reduction therapy. his passion extends to other metabolic disturbances and neurodegenerative diseases. The journey continues, in recent times john has travelled to Russia to study and research into a new therapy photobiomudulation or systemic laser therapy working with Nad+ scientists and the very best of the medical profession in the UK and the USA, together with Nadcell, Bionad Clinics own select Doctors, nurses, dieticians and therapists, Johns’ passion continues to endeavour to bring to the UK and Europe new developments with Nad+ therapy in preventive and restorative medicine and Wellness. In 2017 John Gillen was made a visiting Professor at the John Naisbitt university in Belgrade Serbia.

This has been aligned to continuation of professional development at postgraduate level in clinical research which has been very closely related to the everyday clinical practice conducted by this practitioner as a NHS and Private Psychiatrist. He is fully indemnified by the Medical and Dental Defense Union of Scotland (MDDUS) and MIAB Expert Insurance for Psychiatric and Private Medical practice. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK with a licence to practice. Dr Iqbal is a fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the UK with a licence to practice since 1999, and on the GMC Specialist Register for General Psychiatry since 2013. He is fully indemnified by The Medical Protection Society (MPS) for private medical and psychiatric practice. Dr Iqbal has a special interest in Psychotherapy and has trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Human Givens Therapy. He follows a biopsychosocial, holistic approach to mental health assessment, treatment, and recovery, and this works well with his patients. As well as having extensive experience in successfully treating mood, anxiety and psychotic disorders, he also has special interests in Addictions Psychiatry and Adult ADHD. Dr Iqbal contributed to the health article on alcohol published in the Daily Mail Online Health on 10th August 2017: “Are YOU drinking too much? Answer these 10 questions to find out: Experts reveal the classic warning signs you’ve become dependent on booze”. Desiree uses multiple approaches of Therapeutic Interventional techniques, such as CBT, Mindfulness and Schema Therapy tailored to the individuals requirements for a range of clients from adolescence behavioural and anger management, to adulthood for depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, together with couple counselling for relationship development and reconciliation.

Seth is currently continuing to further his training and study on an advanced integrative therapy diploma course, reflecting his ongoing passion for personal and professional growth and development.

    Lara initially trained as a Doctor, working for a few years locally as a GP before deciding to become a full-time Mum to her children. She has assisted at a variety of charities including Victim Support, a homeless charity in Milton Keynes and as a garden volunteer at Stowe gardens, as she notices how valuable nature and the outdoors can be. In 2018, Lara became a diploma qualified counsellor and currently works also at a young person counselling agency. Lara has a regular meditation practice having discovered the personal support this affords following a mindfulness course she completed a few years ago.

In 2010 he started to work in the field of alcoholism and addiction and enjoyed working in a 12 step rehab just outside Swindon, plus voluntary work in a homeless drop in centre in Swindon town centre. In 2015 James was looking to change careers and completed a counselling course, soon after he began employment in a 12 step / therapeutic treatment centre. James is continuing his studies and looking more into the creative side of therapy, this alongside his key role at Asana Lodge will allow him to develop further. James is looking forward to providing an excellent and inspiring experience to all.
