Home to a fantastic team of dedicated, highly skilled, medical professionals, our holistic alcohol and drug rehab has everything you need to achieve a long-term recovery from drug or alcohol addiction.

We’re delighted to have helped so many people overcome their addictions and go on to lead happy, healthy lives free from alcohol or drugs.

How do you know if you’re addicted to alcohol or drugs?

To many of us, drinking alcohol is a social activity and is safe to do so in moderation. However, when this social drinking becomes much more excessive within a short space of time, you could be binge drinking.

These high quantities of consumption can lead to long-term health problems and ultimately turn into an established alcohol addiction.

Everyone will react differently with their alcohol addiction, the effects will vary depending on the severity of your addiction as well as other factors such as your weight, height, age, etc.

Typically, you’ll experience the following symptoms when suffering from an alcohol addiction: shakes, sweats, feeling sick, dizziness, redness of the face, depression, anxiety, weight gain due to empty calories, difficulty sleeping and fluctuating temperatures.

If you experience any of the above, it’s vital that you seek professional help before your addiction becomes worse. If left untreated, you’ll be putting yourself in real danger.

With regards to drug addiction, the consumption of higher doses is sadly on the rise resulting in more people becoming susceptible to addiction. Similarly, to alcohol addiction, drug misuse can result in life-changing illnesses, many of which can be irreversible if left too late to treat.

In order to overcome a drug or alcohol addiction, we must look at your physical and psychological health. It’s impossible to recover from an addiction from medication alone, detoxification and psychological therapies are integral to your recovery journey.

We strongly advise you to get in touch with our rehab in East of England as soon as you start to present any addiction symptoms. Give us a call today on 01908 489 421 and we can talk you through your treatment options.

What are our drug and alcohol treatments like?

Our holistic drug and alcohol rehab believe in providing a combination of traditional and non-traditional therapies to ensure the most efficient and effective treatment process for you.

Our highly skilled team deliver cognitive behavioural therapy, psychotherapy, stress management, nutrition therapy, self-help sessions, personal counselling, individual and group sessions, yoga, relaxation and sleep management, low-level laser therapy and art, drama, and music therapies.

Which treatments we select for your treatment programme will be dependent on the nature of your addiction and what we think will work best for you.

Before getting started on the therapy sessions included in your treatment programme, we typically recommend a visit to our detox clinic. This is extremely useful in removing all the harmful toxins from your body and allows your subsequent treatments to be more effective.

We wouldn’t recommend detoxing if we didn’t feel it was such an integral aspect of your recovery; it can be quite a distressing process. It’s vital that you’re surrounded by a team of medical professionals 24/7 whilst undergoing a detox, we strongly advise against attempting this at alone.

Detoxing can be dangerous, as you reduce your intake of alcohol or drugs you may begin to experience withdrawal symptoms.

These can vary between mild nausea to critical illness which you may need emergency medical attention for.

This is why it’s so important to detox in a supervised, safe environment where prescribed medication can be administered to ease your pain if needed.

How do you get started on your recovery journey?

There is a wide array of treatment options available to you in the UK, from free local health services like the NHS to private drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres like ours in East of England.

Unfortunately, with the high demand the NHS experiences day to day, they have long waiting lists and are unable to provide the resources needed to offer personalised addiction treatments.

We’re fortunate that we can offer you a treatment programme almost immediately after your initial enquiry.

Our expert team will talk you through the essential details and explain the treatment options available to you. This is the time to ask as many questions as you can think of, we believe you’re the right match for us, but you must also believe we’re the right match for you.

We’ll conduct a physical and psychological health assessment which helps us to determine the treatment options that will benefit you most.

If we’re both happy at this point, we can discuss your admission into our private drug and alcohol rehab.

You’ll enjoy the comfort of your own private room, nutritious daily meals and arranged social activities to participate in during your down time.

Our aim is to deliver a comprehensive treatment programme whilst ensuring your safety and maintaining your motivation to succeed in your recovery.
