Immediate Treatment available at Asana Lodge
Asana Lodge can offer a wide range of treatment services and if you require drug rehab or alcohol rehab, there is a wide range of recovery routes available to you. But when someone is experiencing an addiction, there is a physical and psychological dependency on drugs or alcohol and identifying the correct method of treatment for you is vital.
Here, we treat every person who comes into our care as an individual. No two of our clients are offered the same treatment. We perform an initial consultation over the telephone to establish the extent of your addiction and come up with a plan to admit you to one of our rehab centres.
When you arrive at our treatment centre, we’ll discuss the most consistent, targeted approach to your addiction treatment in order to promote a holistic, healthy and long-term recovery. Unfortunately, people who choose the wrong kind of treatment, or are directed towards it, are prone to suffering from a future relapse.
Whilst private rehab might not be the cheapest option available, we can guarantee that there’ll be no hidden fees and you will receive the treatment that you need in the comfort and safety of our residential rehab.
Residential Rehabilitation
There are a lot of different treatment options available, but we recommend that your rehab treatment is residential in nature. There are many benefits to this, the biggest being that stepping away from your normal life allows you to focus on your recovery, without the distractions and stresses that you usually experience. When in residential rehab, you will be able to fully immerse yourself in your recovery.
We are also able to perform a deep dive on your mental health. When you speak to our admissions team upon checking into our rehab centre, we will find out about you as a person and discuss what may have caused you to slip into a drug addiction or alcohol addiction in the first place.
If we identify that you are struggling with mental health issues, as most of our clients who are experiencing an addiction tend to, then we will give you a dual diagnosis. This allows us to not only treat your addiction, but the causal mental health condition simultaneously.
All too often, people suffering with an addiction are able to have their addiction treated but the underlying mental health condition is not so much as diagnosed, let alone treated.
This sadly enhances the chances of a relapse in the future. This kind of situation often develops when an addict receives treatment at an outpatient clinic, such as the variation of treatment that is offered by the NHS.
We appreciate that our services are not the cheapest option, but we will work with you to develop a treatment programme within your budget.
Detoxification
Whilst we will always have a personalised approach to all of our clients, the majority of people in our care will require a period of detoxification. This is where the toxins caused by drug or alcohol abuse are flushed from your body. It is however an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience.
Far from the gritty, grimy portrayals on television and in movies, Asana Lodge provide a safe, comfortable environment for you to take on the hardest part of your treatment.
As your access to addictive substances is tapered away, your body will enter a state of withdrawal and react with a series of withdrawal symptoms. Whilst these are mostly minor in nature, some can be serious and as such, our medical team provide around the clock care.
There’s no set period of time in which a detox can last, but it is dependent on the severity of your dependency on drugs or alcohol – generally a detox takes between a few days and two weeks.
Therapies
When your body is free of its dependency, you will be able to take part in therapies. This part of your treatment concentrates on the psychological aspect of your addiction.
Asana Lodge will provide you with a variety of different treatments. Many of these are talking therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which allows you to discuss your mental health issues with our staff.
CBT also encourages you to assess your behaviour around addictive substances, and how you can make changes moving forwards.
There are also group therapy sessions, which allow you to share experiences with other recovering addicts. These sessions, all mediated by a professional therapist, allow you to gain an understanding of the experiences of others and how you can apply what you learn in your new life of sobriety.
Aftercare
Upon completion of your therapies, your 30-day stay in residential rehab will be over. Before you leave, we’ll draw up an aftercare plan to ensure you have belief in the skills you’ve learned to ensure you continue to be free of drugs or alcohol for the rest of your life.
The first year after your rehab is tough and you will be challenged – which is why you’ll have regular follow up sessions and access to a 24-hour helpline to help you if you are struggling with your sobriety. There is no wait for our services, so why not give Asana Lodge a call today?
