Without professional help chances of recovery are low. Detoxification can be challenging and dangerous when attempted at home and you’re less likely to achieve long term recovery if it’s not accompanied by therapy treatment.
At Asana Lodge, all of our treatment programmes are tailored to your individual needs and offer dual-diagnosis treatments, designed to give you the best possible chance of achieving long term recovery.
As the UK’s first residential scientific and evidence-based rehab clinic, we can provide you with state-of-the-art treatment to help you recover from both the physical and psychological impacts of addiction.

Seeking Help For Your Addiction
If you’re suffering with an addiction you’re not alone, 1 in 3 people are addicts. Addiction isn’t an affliction of the poor or homeless, but, rather, affects people from all walks of life and in a variety of ways.
Alcohol and drug addiction are the most commonly heard of addictions, but gambling addictions, shopping addiction and work addictions, to name a few, can also cause harmful behavioural changes and create a toxic lifestyle.
No matter the severity of your addiction, it’s always best to seek professional help and when you’ve made the decision to fully commit to your recovery we’re here to help.
What To Expect From Rehab
Drug and alcohol rehab treatments are provided on a one-to-one basis or as part of group treatment sessions. No matter where you decide to receive your treatment you should receive a personalised treatment programme, designed to specifically address your addiction, as well as your mental health.
The first choice you’ll have to make is whether you want to undertake outpatient rehab or residential rehab. The main difference between the two is where you’ll live throughout your treatment.
Outpatient treatments can be undertaken whilst living at home, as you’ll attend alcohol or drug rehab during the day and return home in the evenings and at weekends. This treatment option is cheaper than residential rehab, but we’d only advise outpatient treatment to be undertaken if you have a strong support network at home.
Residential rehab, on the other hand, offers round the clock care and a structured environment for you to recover in.
With a holistic approach to treatment, you’ll undergo a medically supervised detoxification, whereby prescription drugs are on hand to help elevate withdrawal symptoms, as well as a combination of therapies that you can choose from to help you achieve long term recovery.
The distance you gain between your toxic lifestyle and recovery space is vital in giving you the chance to break your habit and turn your life around.
Our Approach
At Asana Lodge, we provide customised treatment programmes that focus on your physical and psychological requirements. Upon arrival at our centre you’ll undergo a full medical examination, which helps our professional, medical team to assess your physical and psychological wellbeing and determine a treatment programme.
All of our programmes, whether it’s drug or alcohol rehab, start with detoxification. Detox usually takes a couple of days to complete, but this can vary depending on your own addiction. All detox is completed under the medical supervision of our expert team. With round the clock care you can be certain that throughout your withdrawal symptoms, you’ll be kept comfortable.
Withdrawal symptoms are part and parcel of detox, as they’re your body’s reaction to the slow withdrawal of the substance, as its grown dependent on this substance to function. The severity of your withdrawal symptoms will depend on the length and severity of your addiction.
Our therapy treatments are designed to help treat the root cause of your addiction, which is often linked to past traumas and mental health, and depression or anxiety.
These therapies can be undertaken on a one-to-one basis, but we also offer group therapy sessions, such as motivational sessions and art therapy, to name a few.
Since Asana Lodge is the UK’s first scientific and evidence-based treatment clinic, we offer a variety of state-of-the-art treatments that are unique to our centres.
Our Satori chair treatment uses sound frequencies, which are projected through the body using vibration therapy to create a meditative environment to help you unwind and relax.
For patients that require a more restorative treatment to help aid their recovery, we also offer Intravenous Brain Restoration, which is designed to help re-energise cellular development and maintenance. This treatment will help to increase your body’s cellular energy and, in return, help boost recovery.
Most of our treatment programmes run for 28 days, but after you’ve completed your treatment programme our care doesn’t just simply end. We provide all of our patients with 12 months of free aftercare to provide support and guidance whilst they rebuild their lives and establish their own support network outside of our centre.
Peer support is one of the most important tools to have when you rebuild your life outside of our centre, which is why we’ll introduce you to local support groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics.
