How can our rehab in West Yorkshire help you?

Here at Asana Lodge, we’re the UK’s first and only private residential rehab centre which is based purely on evidence-based addiction treatments. Our aim is to give you a positive, rewarding experience and of course, help you to fully recover from your addiction to alcohol or drugs.

We believe in creating a welcoming, motivating atmosphere for all of our clients to benefit from. Typically, our treatment programmes last around 28 days; you’ll stay with us throughout the duration of your addiction treatment.

This ensures you have constant access to our fantastic team of psychiatrists, clinicians, and counsellors, who are all very experienced in addiction therapies.

We’re extremely proud to have helped countless people overcome their battle with drug or alcohol addiction. We understand that your personal experience with addiction is completely unique, therefore you require a completely unique recovery process; bespoke treatment programmes have long proven to be the most effective form of addiction treatment.

With our highly qualified medical team, the latest technologies in addiction treatment and high-specification facilities, we’re confident that we’re the right people to help you beat addiction once and for all.

Fully supported Clinical Detoxification

We conduct an initial physical and psychological assessment prior to you starting your treatment options. This helps us to determine the best course of action when designing your bespoke treatment programme.

Although we deliver personalised treatment programmes, it’s likely that you’ll begin your stay with a visit to our detox clinic. This is an important process which helps to remove all of the harmful toxins from your body and allows your subsequent treatments to be more effective.

However, detoxing isn’t without its dangers. During a detox, withdrawal symptoms are highly probable. These symptoms can consist of mild nausea, headaches, fluctuating temperatures, dizziness, and in severe cases hallucinations, insomnia, and delirium tremers (DT’s) which require emergency medical attention.

This is why it’s so important to undergo detoxification in a supervised, medical environment. We monitor your progress 24/7 ensuring your safe and secure throughout the entire treatment. We’re also able to administer prescribed medication to ease severe withdrawal symptom if needed.

We strongly advise against attempts to detox at home alone, this can cause irreversible damage to your physical and psychological health.

Can you treat Addiction with Medication alone?

Quite simply, the answer is no. It’s not possible to treat addiction to alcohol or drugs with just medication, you must also address the psychological connections to addiction in order to fully recover.

Our qualified psychologists and counsellors are highly experienced in delivering a range of therapies in a safe and professional environment.

Here at Asana Lodge, we deliver cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), stress management, relapse prevention sessions, bereavement, trauma and abuse counselling, satori therapy, mediation therapy for disputes, reflections and hope group therapy and NAD+ therapy.

These treatments have proven to be most effective when combined with our carefully selected well-being therapies. It’s important that you have the opportunity to relax during your treatment, even learn new skills which can develop into fantastic stress relievers.

Our team can also offer art, drama, and music therapies, relaxation and sleep management, self-help sessions, yoga, meditation and mindfulness sessions, acupuncture and acu-detox, self-help sessions, nutrition therapy and low-level laser therapy.

These sessions will take care of your physical health and help you to feel more relaxed at our rehab in West Yorkshire.

Of course, it’s also essential that you have some leisure time to socialise and take a break from your treatment programme. This is why we arrange social activities for all of our clients to participate in.

We can arrange outings with other clients, quiz nights and team games, movie nights, walking or jogging, family days or fellowship events. Having the access to speak with other people in a similar situation to yourself can be invaluable, it’s a great benefit that you have the opportunity to have an open conversation in a more relaxed environment.

What happens when you’ve completed your treatment programme?

Even after you’ve completed your addiction treatment with us, we continue to offer our support. We understand how hard the transition back into your daily routine can be, so we offer all of our clients a free aftercare plan for 12 months.

The first year after finishing your treatment is the time when you’re most likely to relapse, therefore it’s crucial that you benefit from ongoing support. Our aftercare plan is specially designed to help you cope with the first difficult year of continuing your recovery at home, by following our extended plan, you’ll have a much greater chance of succeeding in your recovery.

Our own in-house aftercare support team is made up of addiction counsellors and various other relevant specialists. They offer a warm welcome, non-judgmental advice and encourage you to keep motivated throughout your recovery journey.

If you feel like you need additional help during this time, then we can offer ongoing therapy including cognitive behavioural therapy, family therapy or local support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous.

Our aim is to help you avoid relapse and achieve your long-term recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. If you’re ready to start your journey to recovery, then call our team today on 01908 489 421.
