When it comes to rehabilitation, it’s essential that you receive therapies that have been tailored to your unique condition; it’s unrealistic to expect all treatment options to be beneficial for each person. Trying to recover from addiction takes time and knowledge which our rehabilitation centre has plenty of.
We’re confident that we can help you to break your connection with addiction, both physically and psychologically so that you can begin to build a future free from alcohol and drugs.
Outpatient Rehab vs Inpatient Rehab
When seeking out drug and alcohol rehab treatment options, you’ll need to decide whether you’ll want to receive addiction treatment from free local health services like the NHS, or whether you want to invest in a private drug and alcohol rehab.
Your next decision will be to choose outpatient rehab or inpatient rehab. The difference is that as an outpatient, you’ll remain to stay at home whilst coming into our rehabilitation centre each day to receive your addiction treatment. Whereas, with inpatient rehab, you’ll stay overnight at our rehab in Blackwall and Cubitt Town for the duration of your treatment programme.
There isn’t a right or wrong answer when it comes to choosing outpatient rehab or inpatient rehab, one may be more suited to your personal circumstances than the other. However, research suggests that there is a much higher success rate for long-term recoveries for those who complete their addiction treatment through inpatient rehab in comparison to outpatient rehab.
We believe this to be attributed to having a relaxed and positive environment to undergo your addiction treatment where each moment of your day is supported by a fantastic team of recovery workers who are focused on helping you to achieve your goals.
Remaining at home during your addiction treatment through outpatient rehab, leaves you open to potential negative influences and the daily stresses of life, meaning you’ll be more susceptible to relapsing.

What does a typical day at Rehab involve?
Whilst each day will be unique, a typical day will involve psychological and well-being therapies, split into morning and afternoon with a break for lunch. Your evenings will usually include some downtime to give your mind a rest, you can enjoy dinner before getting a goods night sleep. We also arrange social activities for you to enjoy when you’re not receiving your addiction treatment. These could include group runs or walks, movie nights, quiz nights, and family visits should you wish to.
What do I need to bring to Drug and Alcohol Rehab?
We recommend that you bring causal clothes as well as money in case you need to buy anything during your stay with us at inpatient rehab. We provide all toiletries such as shampoo and shower gels, in addition to towels, bed linen, and bathrobes. You’re welcome to bring your own toiletries; however, mouthwash has to be strictly alcohol-free. We also allow electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and tablets as we have free Wi-Fi available.
Are there any free Addiction Treatment Options?
Whilst we don’t want you to be put off by the word private, it’s important to know the treatment options that are available to you. Free local health services such as the NHS, offer addiction treatment, however, due to limited resources and underfunding, they’re unable to offer a personalised treatment option. This generalisation significantly reduces your changes of succeeding in your recovery. Another disadvantage to receiving free addiction treatment, is that you’ll have to join a long waiting list which can take weeks, sometimes months before you begin your rehabilitation. At our private drug and alcohol rehab Blackwall and Cubitt Town, we welcome all our clients into our rehab centre within 48 hours of their initial contact; this is so important to the effectiveness of your recovery.
